Cambalache Tango Club (CTC) originated in 2005 after an informal group of Tango Argentino enthusiasts mainly from the Launceston area came together with the aim of bridging the geographical gap between Burnie and Hobart in maintaining the old tradition of Tango Argentino alive in Tasmania.
